Verification of telc certificates

Checking the authenticity of a telc certificate is simple

Verify Certificates

Simple and straightforward

It is now easy to verify the authenticity of a telc certificate on our website. This applies to all telc certificates printed with a QR code. Certificates without a QR code cannot be verified in this way.

telc certificates are recognised worldwide and in many cases are used as legal proof of language skills. We understand how important it is for everyone involved that examination results are documented in a secure and reliable way. For this reason, telc have made it easy for authorities, universities or employers to verify the results of our examinations using a secure online portal.

How to verify a certificate

Option 1:

  1. Scan the certificate’s QR code on a smartphone or mobile device of your choice to access the telc verification portal.
  2. Compare the displayed results with the data and scores on the certificate.
  3. If the information is correct, the verification is complete.
  4. If the data does not match or no data is stored, the certificate is invalid.

Option 2:

  1. Enter the following data from this certificate in the search field here.
    • Test taker number
    • Date of birth
    • Date of issue (The certificate must have been issued after May 2022. If not, you can contact us here.)
  2. Compare the displayed results with the data and scores on the certificate you have been presented with. If the information is correct, the verification is complete.
  3. If the data does not match or no data is stored, the certificate is invalid.

How does it work?

The results are compared directly with the data in the telc database.
