Update from May 29: telc extends goodwill regulations

On May 6, 2020, the German federal and state governments decided that educational institutions could resume operation based on state-specific regulations and in compliance with the respective infection protection and hygiene concepts.

Since mid-May, telc exams have been conducted in more and more federal states.

"Particularly in these uncertain times, we want to give our partners and customers security in their exam planning," says Jürgen Keicher, Managing Director of telc gGmbH: "We have cancelled examination dates without red tape and taken back documents free of charge. Now it is important that our examination centres can respond to the demand for tests and organise examination dates at short notice. ”

With this in mind, we are extending our temporary regulations for registering telc exams until June 30, 2020.

For our license partners, this means: We are reducing the registration period for telc exams to 14 calendar days. (Please note: This does not apply to the DTZ / German test for immigrants.)

There are two prerequisites for this special regulation:
(1)    Timely online registration for the exam and
(2)    Online submission of the participant data using the Excel template provided.

Both steps are absolutely necessary.  Let us undertake these actions in a spirit of collegiality and solidarity. Only in this way can we implement this special regulation for all partners without the introduction of additional fees.

Before starting the examination, consult your responsible authority to check which specific protective and hygienic measures you must comply with in order to carry out the examination. The examination center is fully responsible for the consistent implementation of all relevant measures.

If you have to withdraw from an examination that has already been registered, please inform us immediately. We will find a solution. You will not incur any fees if you send the examination documents you have already received back to us in their sealed, undamaged packaging no later than June 30, 2020 (postmark). The examination center bears the costs of the return shipment.

Further questions will be answered by our colleagues from the telc customer service department: service(at)telc.net.

Stay healthy!
