English Dual-Level
Training course description
The examiner training for telc English dual-level examinations consists of two parts, an online module and an examiner training workshop. To successfully take part in the workshop (one day), it is necessary for you to work through the associated online module (about 8 hours).
In the online module, you will
get to know the telc English dual-level examination format and the telc marking criteria for the oral examination. You will also:
- learn about the differences between single-level and dual-level examinations
- learn about the roles of the two examiners in this exam and what each is required to do
- revise and deepen your knowledge of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)
In the workshop, you will:
join others to discuss and evaluate candidates’ oral performances on authentic video films and finish the course with a test where your individual ability to evaluate candidates’ performance is assessed.
