Rater qualifications for Türkçe, Español, Italiano, Français, Русский язык A1-A2-B1-B2
The online rater qualification for the languages listed above offers you a practical introduction to rating written performance. You
- refresh and deepen your knowledge of the “can do” statements of the Common European Framework for Languages (CEF), especially for levels A2, B1 and B2,
- get to know the telc rating criteria for written performance,
- rate candidates’ written performances by means of sample letters and
- finish the course with a test.
The licence
The rater licence for Türkçe A1-A2-B1-B2 entitles you to assess the written examination of the following tests:
- telc Türkçe A1
- telc Türkçe A2
- telc Türkçe A2 Okul
- telc Türkçe B1
- telc Türkçe B1 Okul
- telc Türkçe B2
- telc Türkçe B2 Okul
The rater licence for Español A1-A2-B1-B2 entitles you to assess the written examination of the following tests:
- telc Español A1
- telc Español A2
- telc Español A2 Escuela
- telc Español B1
- telc Español B1 Escuela
- telc Español B2
- telc Español B2 Escuela
The rater licence for Français A1-A2-B1-B2 entitles you to assess the written examination of the following tests:
- telc Français A1
- telc Français A2
- telc Français A2 Ecole
- telc Français B1
- telc Français B1 Ecole
- telc Français B1 pour la Profession
- telc Français B2
The rater licence for Italiano A1-A2-B1-B2 entitles you to assess the written examination of the following tests:
- telc Italiano A1
- telc Italiano A2
- telc Italiano B1
- telc Italiano B2
The rater licence for Русский язык A1-A2-B1-B2 entitles you to assess the written examination of the following exams:
- telc Русский язык A1
- telc Русский язык A2
- telc Русский язык B1
- telc Русский язык B2
The licence is valid for three years. To renew the licence, you need to re-attend a rater qualification course.
Prerequisites for participation
To participate, you should
- already have an examiner licence for examining an oral telc performance in the languages listed above,
- have experience teaching the relevant CEF levels (at least 450 teaching units of 45 min.),
- have native or near mother-tongue language competence in the respective language,
- be familiar with the format of the relevant telc exams,
- know the telc examination regulations and
- know the CEF language competence levels and their practical use.
Qualification criteria
To receive your telc rater licence, you need to
- fulfil all the prerequisites for participation,
- complete the online training module,
- correctly rate candidates’ written performance by means of sample letters.
