On January 12th, 2010, Jürgen Keicher, Managing Director of telc GmbH, together with the top national functionaries of the German Adult Education Association (DVV), met for a talk in Berlin with Annette Schavin, Germany’s Federal Minister for Education and Research. Representing the DVV were Association President Rita Süssmuth, Chairman and Minister of Parliament Dr. Ernst-Dieter Rossmann as well as Director Ulrich Aengenvoort.
The talks centred round the engagement of the Adult Education Association and telc GmbH in their efforts towards language learning and integration as well as Turkish-German relations. The planned cooperation with Turkish adult education centres regarding further education and language competence for adults were the major themes of discussion. With the opening of their new office in Istanbul, telc GmbH is looking forward to their increasingly active presence in Turkey.
