The representatives from the German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) expressed great satisfaction with the ongoing collaboration with telc GmbH on their visit to Frankfurt on 13 January. BAMF and telc GmbH have a long history of cooperation: Together they have implemented the transition to the German Test for Immigrants A2-B1 (Deutsch Test für Zuwander -DTZ) and already helped hundreds of thousands of participants in integration courses to demonstrate their German language competence.
“Contributing to the successful integration of immigrants is a socio-political responsibility. Languages open doors and offer new perspectives. Ultimately, this is something from which the whole of society benefits,” stressed Jürgen Keicher, Managing Director of telc GmbH, to those present at the meeting.
Important areas for cooperation were examined, and predictions and revisions for 2011 were discussed.
Since 2005, telc GmbH has been the official partner of the German federal government with regard to providing the DTZ. You can find more information about the management of the DTZ as well as preparation material for adults and young people on the telc website. You can also visit BAMF’s information DTZ webpages to learn more about the final examination for integration courses.
